At Virginia Mechanical Trade Institute (VMTI), we know that success starts with structure—and that’s why we’re excited to offer our HVAC Apprenticeship Training in the AM (morning schedule). This program is perfect for individuals who want to begin their training early in the day and maximize productivity, whether you’re starting fresh or continuing your journey in the mechanical trades.
Our morning HVAC apprenticeship program provides all the essential Related Technical Instruction (RTI) required for state-registered apprenticeships. Students dive into topics like system installation, maintenance, diagnostics, refrigerant handling, safety protocols, and EPA certification prep. Delivered by skilled instructors in our hands-on training labs, this structured AM program equips students with real-world knowledge and experience—setting them up for success in the field. Morning classes also allow more flexibility for those who work part-time or want to reserve their afternoons for on-site learning or job placement opportunities.
